We had a similar problem.
We used the telnet version first. In that, you can 'adjust the screen
display' so the directories display accurately, and save the adjustment.
Most of our vendors, such as OCLC or MARCIVE, had such an adjustment in our
table.
When I first tried Mil Acq Import Invoices to load Promptcat, I could not
connect. I had the same problem trying to connect to MARCIVE with Data
Exchange. I called the helpdesk and found the problem was the 'adjust
screen' setting from the telnet version. Millennium doesn't like having
such a setting. The helpdesk person also found something else that he fixed
with the setup (sorry, I can't remember exactly what, but it was also
because it was the first time I was trying to use Import Invoices or Data
Exchange).
So I would suggest
1 - try setting up oclc in your host connect table again, in Millennium.
Then try to connect.
2 - if this does not work, call the helpdesk.

Subject: [IUG] problem with importing invoices
We are trying to use the {quot}Import Invoices{quot} function in Millennium
Acquisitions. Our
file of PromptCat records is at OCLC. We are trying to do this using an
existing
OCLC EDX account. The steps we are taking are as follows:
>From Millennium Acquisitions module
Select {quot}Go{quot}
Select {quot}Import Invoices{quot}
Select {quot}Get Shipment{quot}
Put in vendor name ybp
Select ftp
>From Host drop down menu, select edx.oclc.org
Click on {quot}Connect{quot}
Prompt for User and Password
When we put in the user and password, it fails to connect.
Does anyone else use this method for processing invoices and records who
could
give me some advice on why this is not working for us?
