Allow me to refine the authority loading table question, and split it into 2
parts:

1 -- personal, corporate, conference names / subjects
2 -- series

Back from the vendor (LTI, what have you) you load back your names,
subjects, and series (authority records).

1 -- For names, and subjects you would OVERLAY your existing name or subject
with the incoming authority record. [NOTE: those of you who have created an
053 for pers. names may wish to protect that field.]

2 -- you would OVERLAY the series as well, but in the case of series, you
would probably wish to PROTECT the series treatment fields (64x, 667, 670,
090) if you had local decisions there.

Refined Question: How do these parameters compare with those INNOVATIVE set
for your institution, or those you set for yourself (if you took III's
training) ?
