Thanks! This is one of my favorite tricks, but I have found it a little difficult to explain. Once people catch on to how it works, though, some of them really love it. The idea is that you select item records by any method (searching, scanning barcodes, whatever) and tell the system to put them in the label queue. Then when you want to make your review file, you go to Create Lists and copy the label queue file, and there you go.

It's great for projects where you may be building a file of items over several days, like for Black History Month. You can scan some items removed from the shelf for a display, add some new items when they are created, and throw in some others found in a search, and then, when you're ready to produce your list, your file is waiting.

One thing that I have found really helps is setting up a function key to put the item in the label queue file and close the record. It's much easier to train people to hit F5 or whatever than to tell them to select "Queue Monographic Label to Print" which just doesn't fall trippingly off the tongue!
