Good afternoon! We have been testing electronic invoicing (for serials--EBSCO) and have successfully loaded several small electronic invoices without a hitch (other than some set-up problems with our paper invoice layout ― using one line per fund/per copy vs. 1 line per PO). When EBSCO sent us 1 line per PO, we processed the invoice and posted without any problem! YAY! We did this with Release 2005. We are less than a week away from loading the "biggie" which we've had them split into 10 parts. Because we have mulitple locations and funds per PO (title), even if the invoice has fewer than 500 lines, it splits out into multi lines per PO (one line per copy/fund), so we want to make sure we don't exceed any limits in the payfile per invoice. Anyway, I do hope this helps you! Kind regards, Eeva

Has anyone successfully done Electronic Invoicing in Millennium Acquisitions release 2005LE?
Has anyone successfully done Electronic Invoicing in Millennium Acquisitions release 2005?
Thanks. -Melanie
Background, if you want to read it:
We're an academic law library and use Hein as our subscription agent for most of our serials subscriptions. We receive two very large electronic invoices from Hein each year.
Knowing that character-based Acquisitions would no longer be available with release 2005, we made every attempt to use Millennium (release 2005LE) to process our last electronic invoice from Hein. We ran into problems. We called the III Help Desk. The III Help Desk very promptly tried to help us process our invoice, but they couldn't get it to work right either.
This problem with electronic invoicing is the biggest reason we haven't upgraded from 2005LE to 2005. If it also doesn't work in release 2005, we wouldn't have the option of resorting to character-based. We could be stuck with a virtual mountain of manual invoice entries to process. This issue was included at the end of my earlier email to the listserv, but it's a very important issue to us so I'm now raising this concern as a separate subject, fearing it may get lost amidst the earlier email.
