I see no disadvantage, but only a potential advantage. An LC authority
record without cross references has its 670, which provides information,
sometimes most useful. Also such authority record has the potential of being
enhanced by LC/NACO (with an addition of 4xx, or 670, etc.). Its presence
in your database (if you set your authority loading table to match/overlay
on the 010) will be a benefit. This is especially true if you would
subscribe to MARCIVE's notification service.
