I always think it is a mistake not to load all the authority records.
They are an invaluable reference tool. They help you distinguish common
names. They will be a cataloging resource and will tell you if a name is
established as an authorized heading.
Without these the Verify command won't be very useful.

We are a community college with fewer than 150 thousand titles. About six
months ago we migrated straight to Millennium (no Innopac) from Dynix. We
left our old authority records behind. We are doing our project with MARCIVE.
