RE: EDIFACT Setup

Hi Donna,
We are brand new EDIFACT users, so probably don't have the full picture
yet (and have only done the setup with Baker & Taylor so far); but it
sounds like perhaps you could checkmark the "Rename files upon transfer"
box (at the lower left of the FTP Client/Transfer files screen); and
then you'd get a popup box where you can give the file a name of your
choice. Hope that might work for you...

Subject: EDIFACT Setup

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me with my latest dilemma. I am in the
process of setting up EDIFACT ordering with one of our Vendors
(Bookhouse) and they would like the file name to contain our customer
code along with a date and a unique character so the files are not
accidentally over written. Has anyone worked with this vendor and is so
how did you create the codes to help with this process.

Thanks in Advance!

Donna
