EndNote connection file for opac (searching by date)

Hi. We're creating an EndNote connection file for our new OPAC, but we
cannot seem to get it to search using a date limitation. 

 

We've also randomly searched a number of Innovative sites through their
Endnote connection files, and have yet to find one that allows searching
by date. Some simply don't list "Year" as an option. Some do, but when
you try to search by year, you always get the same error - "Unsupported
use attribute." 

 

Has anybody figured out how to create a Endnote connection file that
does allow searching by year? Or is this something that is simply not
possible with the Innovative OPAC?
