Patron-initiated Recalls

Greetings from Clemson!  We're a relatively new III site.  After much 
confusion and consultation as well as reading documentation, I believe that 
patrons cannot place a recall from the OPAC with no staff intervention.  Am 
I correct?  I was hoping that our new system would handle this service but 
it appears not.   Per library policy, our patrons can place a recall on any 
material checked out on extended loan (longer than two weeks).

Does anybody have a work around?  I'm planning to request an enhancement.
