Just a thought...Hiring displaced librarians

Of course I haven't talked about this with my folks...but with empty
librarian positions in our libraries (we are on our third search for the
same collection development position), maybe some preference could be given
to those without jobs, homes or libraries....Of course I'm jumping the gun
on whether these libraries have any possibilities of being repaired in any
timely fashion or anyone from that area is ready to seriously relocate. But
watching the news, it look so devastating…your heart goes out to them…

I wonder if there's anything like that we could do for their long term
recovery.
