You sent this last Aug. 25th. I do not recall receiving our new IUG username
and password afterwards. 

I am the coordinator for Pace University Library.

Kindly send me the information. We are already paid for next year.

Greetings:

 

We will be changing the IUG password on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, one
week from today.  A letter containing the new username/password will be
sent to all the IUG site contacts.   Your site contact or any member of
the IUG Steering Committee will be able to provide you with the new
password.

 

A number of areas on the IUG website are behind the IUG password. These
include: IUG conference and program information, the IUG Clearinghouse,
and IUG Enhancements information.   We consider these resources to be a
valuable benefit of IUG membership and should not be shared with the
general public.  We also have a responsibility to protect the
confidentiality of any proprietary information concerning the III system
that may exist in these resources.

 

Please respect the need to keep these resources secure by not sharing
the IUG password over the listserv. 

 

Over the next month or so, we will be working out the details to change
the authentication system to employ site-specific IDs/passwords that
will be under the control of your local site contact.  We will send a
message to the listserv and site contacts when we are ready to implement
a site-specific password.

 

Again, the general IUG password will be changing on Sept. 1st.  We'll
send another announcement to the list when the change becomes effective.

 

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or
comments regarding access to IUG information.
