We noticed the same issue last Friday and I agree with you that I wished it was left alone. I thought it was the hardware upgrade that we had recently did caused this rearrangement, but I don't know for fact. I've suggested the users to do the following as an interim solution.

In Millennium tool bar:
Admin > Setting > "New Records" tab
Under "New Record Templates" next to "Item", you should see "<whatever default you'd like>".
Use the drop-down and change it to "<whatever default you'd like>".

Yesterday I installed new disk drives on our system and the tech did a
system restore to the new disks.

Today we discovered that in our text-based system the various templates
under "Defaults for new records" have been re-arranged. They have all
been alphabetized.

Evidentally this has been changed because the records display
alphabetically in Millennium. Innovative cannot change them back to the
order they were in before.

I think we will be able to cope but there is a certain amount of
adjustment that will need to be done: changes to procedure manuals,
changes to load tables, changes to habits ... And who knows what else?

Can anyone think of why this would be changed? Why couldn't it just be
left alone?

Frustrated,
Gail
