Sarasota has always experienced that problem since the beginning. The workaround you came up with is what we use.

Karen,
This is happening at MARINet too. We've been down for the last two days and
are using Offline circ for the first time since upgrading to Rel 2005. It
didn't use to happen with the earlier release. I don't think that staff
had found the workaround you did, however.
