Something has been brought to my attention about Millennium Offline Circulation that I would like to know if others are experiencing.

Scenario:
Patron1 checks out some items.
Staff clicks "Clear Patron" button
Patron2 checks out some items.
Staff clicks "Clear Patron" button

In the meantime, patron1, who decided to browse some more, finds another item to check out.

Staff scans patron1's card and gets the message:
"The same barcode was entered in one of the last three scans."

The only option here is to click "OK". This message keeps coming up until the staff member, who by this time is getting crazy from this obvious computer response, clicks on the check-in button and then returns to check-out. The computer is now happy and the transaction takes place.

My question: Do other libraries using MilOfflineCirc have this problem or is there something not right in our setup?

Many thanks -- Karen
