We want it on the full record on the OPAC screen. I got an answer from III a few days ago which was, "not that we know of---well no". So, I put in a help call anyway (and did not get an answer) to see if I could pursue it a bit further (I don't give up that easily). Anyhow, III answered my query posted on the IUG listserv (that seems a little odd but ok). Now I have another answer (pasted below--maybe it can help others). I am keeping my fingers crossed that when I look through it tomorrow, that it will fix our problem. I think that we talked about this fix a long time ago but were under the impression that there may be another way. This, I will deal with in the morning. LOL

Have a great evening and thanks for responding Tom. I really love the users groups. They are fantastic! (We are taking a group to the Eastern Great Lakes Conference in September on a fact finding mission!)

Dear Ms. Young:

In regard to the question you posed in the IUG list:

"Is there anyway to make bib call number display in the full record
screen if the bib record doesn't have any item record attached?"

Please see User Manual Page # 101191 Display of Simulated Item Information.

Once you decide how you would like to set this up, please contact the help desk to have this feature activated. IT's typically set up to display in the same way as bibs with attached items.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Regards
Mark Rutledge

Michelle:
Are you talking about the OPAC screen? There's not a way that I know of,
but, on our OPAC, you can click on the Marc record display and see the
call number there. Lots of luck,
