I have to echo Karen's suggestion. I also really encourage you to take
the time to add comments as she suggests. It will make your life and
your successors life much easier. -- Margaret Peloquin

John,
I think it looks and feels great. Congratulations - it's a big
undertaking. My only suggestion with the WWWOptions file to make it
easier for adding future release changes is to download a copy of the
current example set WWWoptions file and edit it to match your
newworking file. That way, everything will be grouped the way that
Innovative has theirs and it will be much easier to locate a WWWOption
that matches a function or module. And add comments to mark the
sections. It's painstaking to do, but well worth it.

My question, that which makes me fret and lose sleep, concerns my new
wwwoptions file. I have tried to make sure that my current
wwwoptions file on live server port has all elements in my new
wwwoptions file at
http://library.cwu.edu:2082/screens/wwwoptions
I essentialy reverse engineered the UW wwwoptions file, tried to make
sure I had my current elements from my live server port included, and
now have fingers and paws crossed. File isn't visually well
organized by "sub-categories" if you will - like global settings in a
group, Innreach settings in a group, etc. But I *think* things are
working.
To those who are sooo much better at this than I and who are willing
to look under the hood - am I doing or not doing something that is
going to break or otherwise get me into trouble, either w/ my
wwwoptions or anything else I might've missed?
I'm cold on this as I wasn't able to bring it up in early summer as
I'd hoped and am now scrambling to bring up other redesigned and/or
new Web services by start of Fall Quarter...so I'm jumping back to
III stuff after months away...and know just enuf to be dangerous.
Thanks so much for any and all suggestions, observations, comments!!
