Hello,
I have occasionally experienced this problem on one or two workstations
after upgrading to a new Millennium release. Check that JARDIR has
"Write" privileges. In not, you need to assign them while you are in
the Administrative profile. You can locate JARDIR by performing a
search in Windows.

People,
We just finished with something that acted like this. A workaround
that sort of worked was to delete all entries in jardir before
signing in. A better solution SEEMED to be to correct the
firewall settings on the server to be sure to cover all ports on
the output side of the firewall (or router) on the desktop side.
Very unsatisfactory all in all, but working now.

When you de-install the software, try going in to the Mill folders and
deleting the files left in there. That has resolved these types of
problems for me in the past.

We have a peculiar problem happening on one PC here. We click (or
double-click) the
III Mill Icon to start Millennium on a PC. The task bar flashes real
fast,
but the software
never starts up.
I have "de-installed" the software and reinstalled it, but to no
avail. Has anyone seen
this scenario? If so, what did you do to resolve it?
TIA,
