Position Available: Reference Librarian

Rogers Public Library is accepting applications for a reference 
librarian. A midsize library in the foothills of the Ozarks and one 
of the fastest growing areas of the country, the library is 
expanding, and is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person 
to become part of a dynamic team.  DUTIES INCLUDE: providing 
reference services to a diverse population, collection development 
and maintenance, assisting with electronic resources, programming, 
development of bibliographies and other aides to promote business and 
reference services, and supervision of support staff.  Evening and 
weekend responsibilities are required. POSITION REQUIRES an MLS from 
an ALA-accredited program or equivalent, working knowledge of 
reference resources and techniques, experience with Internet and 
electronic resources, and excellent communications and public 
relations skills.  Knowledge of or experience working audio-visual 
materials along with previous public library and supervisory skills 
preferred.  Starting salary range $24,960-29,120.  Benefits include
