Re: Integration (XML, Portals, etc) SIG, anybody?

Hello all,

Some time ago I emailed here asking about interest in web services,  
XML interfaces, single sign-on, portal or CMS integration, Blackboard  
or WebCT integration, or anything else along those lines.

The response was huge, and it was clear that this is an area of great  
interest to quite a number of people. Many respondents had specific  
ideas or are actively working on projects and would like to connect  
with other like minded library folk, while many other respondents  
expressed an interest in lurking among such discussions.

To answer this, to create a space to converse and share ideas, I  
created LibDev:

I believe I've already emailed people who'd contacted me about the  
SIG, but I wanted to drop a note about LibDev here in case I missed  
anybody and also to invite the larger community.
