Hi --

Elizabeth Thomsen already called your attention to the IUG Clearinghouse as a great repository for these training manuals.

What we have been careful to consider is that IUG members vary a great deal in size and staffing. So there is not a single size or type of manual that could or should be posted to the Clearinghouse. Everything from 30 minute automated tutorials to two page cheat sheets would have value to the membership. Given the number of people who responded to the desire to see the resources that were mentioned on the list, this is an important need that the Clearinghouse can fill nicely.

Please also remember that if you do not have space on your web server for such an item, you can place your email in the resource link and people who are interested can contact you. I can also host things if people would rather not be bothered.

Here are the URLs:

Main Clearinghouse Homepage: http://www.innovativeusers.org/clearinghouse/ (from here, you can now browse by material type).
URL For entering items to the IUG Clearinghouse: http://www.innovativeusers.org/cgi-bin/clearinghouse/new.pl

We had talked about conducting an IUG Clearinghouse 'call for content' where we would encourage people to state what types of information and resources that people could use. Then we would post that list and ask if IUG members have these types of resources, to consider posting them to the Clearinghouse. This will be an ongoing project that we will start soon.

Best -
