Set up one of your Scodes for either an alive or dead status.  This will make short work of
collapsing checkin boxes later when you don't need them or when you need to run a report.  Our
periodicals reside permanently in two create list files (alive and dead) because we use them
frequently for a myriad of reporting and control purposes.
