same here...I send posting docs to a special email address...we do a fund
activity report weekly and I then delete all the encumbrance registers and
posting registers from the previous week, just save the fund activity
report. I send the invoice registers and summaries to email also and only
print them out if I have a pile of invoices, at which point we put the
register and summary on top for the business office to have a list of what
we're giving them for payment.

Please reply to the list... this is a question that I've been intending
to ask! We rarely look at the printed posting logs, and if we do, it's
only the very recent ones.

Regarding payment history files (fund activity reports) - I stopped
printing these a couple of years ago as they used so much paper (trees,
paper jams...) I now "print to e-mail" and save them on my hard drive.
This allows me to find entries very quickly (find by fund, etc.) - I
often refer to the fund reports.
