Posting logs & payment history files

Everyone,

We've been keeping print copies of our posting logs & payment history
files since implementing the Innovative system in 1999.  Our
Acquisitions staff is clearing out their files and would like to recycle
the printouts from our fiscal year 2000 (1999-2000 calendar year).  They
plan to keep the most recent 5 years, at least for now.  I can't think
of any reason that they would need to keep these reports.

Does anyone out there keep copies of these for more than a few years? 
If so, why?
