Dannis,

Here at your "neighbor" to the south, San Diego State University, we offer 
continuation of the same privileges to emeritus faculty and retired 
faculty/staff that they enjoyed while employed with the university.  They 
are provided with a "retired" staff or faculty sticker to attach to their 
university id cards.  Emeritus faculty may obtain a new university id with 
Emeritus Faculty designation on the id.
