Re: Removal of OCLC holdings symbol

Good morning Helen -- We pull up the record in Millcat, copy the OCLC
number, delete the bib record, go to OCLC Connexion and using the Batch
function, enter the OCLC number. When we have finished with all our
records we complete the Batch search and Batch delete holdings. Works well
for us.

Subject: Removal of OCLC holdings symbol

Would anyone be willing to share your procedure for removing the
holdings symbol from OCLC when materials are lost or withdrawn? Does
anyone have a way of combining the process of removing the records
through Millennium Cataloging and removing the holdings symbol from
OCLC?
