Has anyone been successful in providing access to Birds of North

help would be greatly appreciated.
You didn't say anything about a vendor, so I am assuming you are
getting your access directly from Cornell. (I'm not even sure it
it is available elsewhere to be honest.)
We have the following entry in the WAM Forward Table and it seems
to work fine (we use proxy re-write).
Token: BIRDS
IP Address/Host Name: *.bna.cornell.edu
Port: 80
The search engine for BNA has been a pain, because it keeps moving
around. Currently, it seems to be mapped to "search.bna.cornell.edu",
so the wildcard entry works to covers it.
If you have just "birds.bna.cornell.edu" in your table, you're going
to run into problems if you are using re-write proxy. The search
results will end up on "search.bna.cornell.edu" and the links from
that page will fail to be re-written properly even though they point
back to the hostname where the connection originated (birds.bna.cornell.edu).
