We use the Metrologic Voyager as well and they work quite well. We
purchase directly from the vendor American Microsystems LTD which saved
us some money. Their website is called barcode power (how great is
that?) and the address is www.barcodepower.com

Hi David,

We've had really good luck with the Voyager Laser Scanners:
http://www.vernonlibrarysupplies.com/cgi-bin/vernlib.cgi/MS9520PC.html.

Vernon might not be the cheapest place but their site gives some basic
information about the scanner. This one has a good response time and
has never cut out on us. We tried a scanner from Symbol (I can't
remember which model) but the response time was so slow, our staff kept
scanning items two or three times before it registered with Millennium.

That one got sent back . . .

Good luck!
Leigh
