Hi David,

We've had really good luck with the Voyager Laser Scanners: http://www.vernonlibrarysupplies.com/cgi-bin/vernlib.cgi/MS9520PC.html. Vernon might not be the cheapest place but their site gives some basic information about the scanner. This one has a good response time and has never cut out on us. We tried a scanner from Symbol (I can't remember which model) but the response time was so slow, our staff kept scanning items two or three times before it registered with Millennium. That one got sent back . . .

Good luck!
Leigh

We've been using the old barcode wands since time began. Anybody have some desktop scanners to recommend?
