Hi, Anna:

In answer to your question no, you can't restart at a given number in the review file like you can in the range file.

We use review files for claiming. However, we code our records and break them down into five to six files for claiming. Most of the files have a about 1500 records which one can cycle through in a claiming session. This works for us because we want to devote more attention to two of the files, our medical library titles and problem titles. Problem titles are any titles we want to keep an eye on (like email claims) and titles with publisher designated short claim cycles.

Is it possible to claim from a review file in Millennium Serials without being forced to start with the first record of the review file? In other words, can I enter a specific record number where I left off claiming (say 2354 of 5432) to start claiming again from that number the next time I use the review file to claim? Previously, the text-based version would ask you if you wanted to use a review file and then prompt you to enter the number of the record in the review file you wanted to work with.. This functionality seems to be gone in Millennium

Thanks for any information you can share about this.

Anna
