Server Centralisation

Hello, 
Can I ask if any of your sites had their millennium servers centralised, and
if so, what were the issues. This is going to happen with the Irish sites,
and we are concerned that perhaps the complexity of the system is being
overlooked. We are worried about ports and wam access to our databases in
particular. If anyone has any guidelines it would be of enormous benefit to
us.
