I'll second that! *poke*

The touchscreens (we have "elo" touchscreens) let one utilize 90%+ of
Millennium functions. We've found it better to set the resolution to
800x600 so the buttons and tabs are bigger (as opposed to 1024x768) and
easier to hit.

They've been a big hit with our staff. And the bonus is that for people
who *insist* on using the mouse or keyboard, they still can!

The Millennium Circulation screens are exactly the same on a touch
screen monitor as they are on a regular monitor.

The only drawback we have seen so for is that when you leave the
circulation desk, you poke your regular monitor and expect it to
respond. 8)

Subject: Touch Screens for Millennium Circulation

I was interested to see that some libraries are using touch screens for
Millennium Circulation. I am curious as to what the screen looks like
for the user. Does it look the same as a regular Millennium Circulation
screen? What are the drawbacks to using them, if any?
Thanks
