Cathy --
Over the past few releases, more and more changes have been moved from
Manager-Controlled Options to Settings so that people can truly
customize their Millennium sessions. This is currently on the ballot
(A18) for this year's enhancements so it will be passed to Innovative.
I am not sure about the second question that you had. I think that the
reason that the CASH BALANCE display does not display is because you are
breaking your report into two subfunds (see Page # 102979, we do not use
them at Toledo). When you do not have subfunds, then it will show the
Cash Balance in addition to the Free balance. I am not sure how this
works with Millennium, but it could be operating the same way (if
someone uses With Millennium with subfunds, maybe they can confirm) and
that the system is limited it what it sends out. Some of the screen
size limitations are no longer an issue with Millennium so there maybe
options down the road.
Just a reminder that even though we are undergoing balloting right now,
the submission process is now open year round. To submit, you will need
your IUG password and can go to:

Hope this helps --

Hi. It really is too bad that this change can only be done through
Manager-Controlled Options. I have another question related to fund
display though and am unable to find an answer in the manual or
archives... can the Cash Balance column in Millenium Acquisitions Fund
display be removed, as it can be in text-based?
Thanks,
Cathy

I just tried it out on my system and I was able to change that setting
under the Manager-Controlled Options, but I did not have to restart
Millennium. I just went to Orders and then back into Funds and the full
fund descriptions were displaying.

not great because you have to give people a relatively high
authorization for Manager-Controlled Options, but it seems to do the
trick on our system.

>Well, Corey, here's another one. I can't believe the only way to
switch between names and codes when viewing/printing funds is to change
the manager-controlled options and then restart Millennium. We like the
names when printing monthly reports, but sometimes want to see the
codes, such as when doing fund adjustments. I understand the sense of
having a default setting for the logon, but we should be able to change
it temporarily on the fly.

>Notes that are added when adjusting fund balances (in either Milacq or
Telnet) really only display when you are viewing the Fund Activity
Reports. It will display where the title would be for more conventional
orders. With Milacq, you can see the Fund Activity Reports easily by
click on the fund and then the Activity Tab. Because these are not
associated with Order Records, they cannot be searched via Create Lists.

invoices in Release 2005. Fund Adjustments are treated as an Invoice
and so it probably is possible that this could be viewed outside of the
Fund Activity Reports.
