They don't work with pop-up blockers in my experience.

We are in the process of migrating to III.  This morning I was looking at
patron records pages on our staging site.   When you¹re in ³My Record² and
you click on the ³Modify Your PIN² or the  ³Modify Your Personal Info²
buttons you get a pop-up window.  I¹ve found some III libraries using pop-up
windows for search tips too.  Isn¹t there a concern about pop-up blockers?
How do these windows work in light of those?
