The only other related system settings that I know of outside of the login
are those in the circulation options that allow or not allow checkin at
wrong location. There is documentation on csdirect that indicates that that
particular circulation option is options groupable if you are using options
groups but I have no experience with that since the setting is the same for
all of the locations on our site.
