We had a problem with diacritics exporting correctly from a couple of PCs
using Connexion client and it was related to a Windows setting for
"language for non-Unicode programs". This needs to be set to
English. When we've had it set to anything else, diacritics have not
exported correctly -- though ours came through with extraneous letters
rather than as in your example.
To check the setting, look in the Control Panel for Regional and Language
Options, Advanced, and you should see Language for non-unicode
programs. Hope this helps -

When downloading from OCLC Connexion a record containing diacritics like this:
CagÌ?alogÌ?lu, IÌ?stanbul : Ç?b Beta Basım-Yayım DagÌ?ıtım, Ç?c 2002.
it became this in our Millennium and OPAC:
Ca?galo?glu, ?Istanbul :|bBeta Bas?m-Yay?m Da?g?t?m,|c2002
Any comment or suggestion?
