Innovative's Inventory Control

To those of you out there who use Inventory Control, how do you use it? We
just did our inventory last week, and we are now thinking of
automating/accelerating this process by going around with a hand held
scanner. Is it a separate module? Do you just keep an electronic "master
file" instead of a physical card catalog and match the barcodes against that
file? I would appreciate any and as much information as you can give me.
There is absolutely no hurry. Thanks in advance.
