- Subject: RE: IUG - Oracle-option interest group?
Hi, Charlotte and others. I only received three responses of interest from
other Oracle sites. But then soon after this, I moved to work at a
non-Oracle Innovative site and am not having to deal with Oracle issues at
this point. One of the responses I received mentioned that a user could
always propose a "birds of a feather" type meeting at an IUG conference to
address Oracle issues.

I don't know if Adriene got any direct responses about this, but I'd
be very interested in having an Oracle discussion group at future IUGs
as well. We at Tufts are having a lot of issues with our system,
which has been implemented for about a year, and they are often blamed
as originating due to Oracle by Innovative. I didn't get the
impression from other Oracle sites that there were this many problems
when we were shopping around for a new system a couple of years ago,
so I'd love to have a chance to talk with other Oracle sites about
whether what we're experiencing is unusual or not. I don't think it's
appropriate to have these discussions on this list--but I'd like to
have them somewhere.
