I cannot answer your question directly, but can offer related
information -- that we use PCReservation from Envisionware, and we have
the III API running. The error messages and stops work fine for us in
the API environment.

Best wishes with it.

Subject: GCPL: Self check messages

We use PCReservation which uses generic SIP to authenticate patron
barcodes against the III server. This basically makes a PCReservation
station into a self check unit.
We have one PCReservation station which is causing us problems, and
according to its log files is returning the message:" AFThis patron
record is currently not available. Please see a staff member for
assistance.|"
As near as I can figure from reading the manual this is a "If there are
any conditions that would require a staff override to be performed in
the staff circulation function, a standardized message is presented to
the patron, directing the patron to the library's circulation desk."
So, where are these standardized messages located, what do they mean and
can they be configured?
TIA
