Changing from using local Sendmail to campus email

For those that have stopped using Sendmail on their systems as a
listener, what are some of the steps that you had to go through?  With
your campus IT?  Changes to the Innovative system?  Are their specific
catalog email addresses that are bring forwarded to address on you
campus email system? Or have you overridden the catalog's mail domain
and pointed it another system?
