Faculty Librarian





Mt. Hood Community College, situated in the Portland, Oregon
Metropolitan area is recruiting for one faculty librarian position. This
is a full-time tenure-track position with the essential duties of
providing distance learning and campus instruction, being responsible
for the library web presence, creating online tutorials, coordinating
and participating in reference services, assisting in collection
development, and providing outreach services to high schools and the
community. The position reports to the Dean of Information Resources.
An ALA accredited Master's degree and 3 years of professional experience
in a library required; 2 of the 3 years must be in a post k-12 academic
library. Experience developing and presenting information literacy
instruction, web design and the creation of online tutorials, and in
general and online reference work are also required. Salary range is
$47,675-$80,852. Complete application packets may be accepted until the
