I just tested this and it seemed to work.  Create a patron record
template and have it prompt for Money Owed.  You'll have to enter the
amount manually but at least the prompt is there.  I don't see any way
to include an amount.

I can't imagine why I'm drawing a blank on this, as it seems like it
ought to be very simple. Alas, I continue to beat my head against the
wall. I'm trying to set up my innovative system (millennium silver, if
it matters) so that when a new patron record is created with a
particular pcode3, a fine of a set amount is immediately and
automatically placed on that patron record. Can I do that?
