Seattle University's A.A. Lemieux Library seeks applications and
nominations for candidates for the position of Coordinator of Library
Technology. Reporting to the University Librarian, the Coordinator
will: provide technology management and leadership within the library;
build, maintain momentum in the sophisticated and effective use of
information; position the library to understand and capitalize on new
technologies; and establish, maintain effective relationships with a
variety of constituents. Specific responsibilities include: serve as
lead administrator of the III Millennium System shared by Lemieux and
Law Libraries; manage the library's website and chair its web team;
support public-access and staff computers; supervise one technology
support staff position; develop a comprehensive library technology plan;
serve as primary contact to a variety of university technology offices
and committees; participate in library administration and management;
serve as liaison librarian to one or more academic programs; contribute
to collection evaluation and development; participate in instructional
