Hi --
Please see below the new entries for the IUG Clearinghouse. We have
some really great new entries that tie back to messages on the list.
Thought I would get these out before IUG. Please remember that you will
need your IUG password (and do not share it on the list). If you need
your password, please ask your site contact for the Innovative Users
Group or one of the IUG Steering Committee members (including me).
Right now, we have 61 entries (and a few more to add soon). For more
information and to submit resources, please go to:

There will also be a session on the Clearinghouse at IUG in San
Francisco (N4 Wednesday at 10:30am)

Title: Connexion Client Version 1.3 Training Presentation
Training Tutorials (Staff)
PowerPoint presentation that contains training materials to ease our
transition to OCLC Connexion 1.30 from the older versions of the
Connexion Client. Some of these materials may be useful to other
OhioLINK and Innovative Users Group institutions. If you save the
PowerPoint and then open it, as opposed to only opening it, you gain
access to the speaker's notes. The policies are specifically geared
towards cataloging practices at Kent State University. Also, the
presentation is based on a growing, but modest, understanding of the new
Connexion Client software.

Training Manuals (Staff)

Inter-Library Loan module. These instructions were written when we were
using the text based system, but it works in Millenium. The instructions
cover creating, searching and using bib and item records to track books
borrowed on interlibrary loan.
