Hi Leo,

We had a similiar problem when we migrated to Millennium several years ago and I'm pretty sure that the Help Desk can edit your pickup locations in your dropdown menu. I don't remember the details, but resolution did require Innovative's intervention. Hope this helps.

Janet

I cannot answer your question, but have been delving into this issue
myself and have a related one.

I've noticed that holds, associated with certain location codes in our
system, are not viewable in Millennium. So I opened a call with Innovative
to assess the reason. I was told that the location in code in question
was "not a pick up location" for any outstanding holds. This was the
reason associated holds could not be "viewed" when I limited my search by
location. I was told that for patron initiated requests, the pickup
location was determined by the REQUEST wwwoption. This respnose did not
really tell me what I should do to fix this problem.

Our Pickup Location Table has no values it it... the default location is
set in the REQUEST wwwoption (home library for all patrons is the same).
Give these parameters, I have not been able to figure out why only some
location codes do not generate the default pickpup location. I would
think either no requests would be assigned a pickpup location (because the
Pickpu Location Table is empty) or all holds would be assigned the default
location specifeid by the REQUEST wwwopton.

Maybe someone else on the list understands the relatoinships between these
parameters.
