You absolutely CAN do this. The info on acceptable patron data formats
is included in the 'Getting Started' Manual which is available on
CSDirect. We had our university folks who manage the Student Info
System write a program that pulls the data and formats it so that all
we do is identify the semester and year and pull the data. We then pull
the resulting file into our Innovative system using Innovative FTS.
While we have occasional glitches, it's usually pretty painless.

Hello everyone,

Our law library would like to explore the possibility of uploading
student
info (name, address, student ID, etc.) via a central dump file once a
semester into Innopac rather than manually entering it as we do now.

Is this possible with Innopac, and if so, what are our options? Does
III
charge for something like this or can we do it for free? Any III
documentation I can read through? (Haven't found any yet, still
looking)

Thanks in advance to any who respond.

Rob
