We do add temporary items to our system. They are suppressed and deleted
when we ship them back. This way they can be treated as a regular book as
far as the circ staff is concerned. They have a hold, the system sends the
notices, they are checked in and returned to the ILL staff. It is just not
a virtual record like the ILL module. Sure, we would like to have the ILL
module, but our budget just will not allow it to happen.
