Hi Ruth - I wrote something *years* ago for the telnet environment that
we still have available as many of our music folks still prefer to use
telnet for music items. I don't think it's been updated since I left
the Music Library in '96, but it may be a start for you. Just took a
quick look and a lot could still be applicable in the webopac
environment, just needs to be expanded w/screenshots and add in webopac
features, etc.

Subject: Searching for music resources in the OPAC

A long time ago someone on the list provided a link to (or posted a
document on) tips for searching music (e.g. scores, etc.) in the OPAC.
I saved that for a long time, but must have discarded it at some point,
because I can no longer find it. Our music librarian is currently
writing such a document. If anyone has guidelines they are willing to
share, it would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
