Hi --

It is not too late to setup Birds of a Feather (BoF) Sessions at The IUG
Meeting in San Francisco, May 2nd to May 4th, 2005 on the IUG Website.

For more information or to submit a BoF idea, please visit:
http://www.innovativeusers.org/iug2005/bof.html

To view the ten (10) BoF sessions already setup, please visit:

IUG "Birds of a Feather" (BoF) discussion/brainstorming sessions enable
you to meet other Innovative users with similar interests to discuss
topics not included in the program -- or to talk in depth about program
topics. The sky's the limit in terms of possible Innovative-related
topics. Sessions from past years included:

Authority control
III and consortia - would you do it again?
Managing electronic journals
Materials booking module
Meetings of various regional Innovative Users Group
Millennium Circulation beta testers
Serials (annual routines for clean-up, control, etc., excluding
Millennium)
Sharing a server with other institutions
Systems Administration

One large room (Union Square 25 on the 4th floor) has been reserved at
the San Francisco Hilton throughout the conference for BoF sessions. The
room can accommodate two groups at the same time and has been reserved
for the following times:
Monday May 2nd: 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday May 3rd: 9-11:30 a.m. & 1:30-5:30 p.m.
Wednesday May 4th: 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

You can also schedule a Birds of a Feather session that takes place at a
local eating or drinking establishment. Even if you will not be using
the reserved space, it is a good idea to send your information along so
others can see what people are gathering to discuss.

Please use this form to submit a Birds of a Feather session Click here
You will receive a confirmation email from the BOF coordinator and your

Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the
time to understand more, so that we may fear less.
