Missing elements in browse display

I really don't know how to phase this.  And, I think perhaps this was 
addressed in some earlier messages but I can't seem to find it in the 
list archives.

When one searches the author index for a specific author where there 
will be multiple titles -- e.g., Hemingway, Ernest -- the titles are 
listed, but the Media and Year are blank.

However, if one searches simply "Hemingway," that list of possible 
authors to choose from does display something in the Media and Year columns.

I've looked at the wwwoptions but can't seem to find what controls this 
particular screen.
