I tried this on a new mainmenu I was mocking up on staging but I
couldn't get it right.  If you hear from anyone doing this successfully

Hello,

Has anyone successfully posted a form on their library home page (not
part 
of the catalog) which allows a patron to log into his patron record from

the library's website?  We have created a login form on our home page, 
http://www.slcl.org, which opens the patron record.  But, if the patron 
attempts to search the catalog from here, they have to re-enter their
name 
and barcode. The .p number is not passed through to the catalog search.

Any ideas?
